The new program

Over the last three years the WGDN grew rapidly with active membership of Dutch, Belgium, English and Scandinavian companies and its suppliers. To become a truly international initiative, it was decided to join forces with the UK based TFT Quarry working group which also runs a similar program in range of production countries.

The TFT and WGDN programs has merged and will continue as the ‘ TFT Responsible Stone Program’. It unites the efforts of North-West European retailers, traders, importers and their supplier to offer an ethically produced product. With a realistic step by step approach, a clear set of criteria and claim,  it will work on continuous improvement throughout the supply chain, where needed. The new program has many similarities with the WGDN program, but also some important innovations. Please find below:
